Equality Act 2010

Equality Act 2010

Following the success of the Equality Act 2010 seminar in Glasgow in November we have now delivered a number of additional Equality Act training sessions across Scotland. Including for the NHS Scotland Health Boards as well as for Glasgow City Council (a generic course on equalities responsibilities) and a course for Glasgow University. Our Equality Act 2010 seminars have been developed and delivered jointly with Muriel Robison.

Feedback from the open session in Glasgow included:

“A very informative day well supported by case studies which generated good discussion. Most enjoyable though hard working.”

“Excellent facilitators and Muriel was brilliant at plain Englishing the info.”

“Trainers and training materials were very informative and practicable for taking back to the workplace. Interaction and discussion time much appreciated.”

“Enjoyed the seminar. Case studies were good for interaction with groups. Thank you.”

Our Equality Act seminars follow a pattern of input from the facilitator about the changes in the law or an aspect of the legislation followed by case studies and discussion questions which enable participants to see how that element of the Act will work in practice.

If you have an existing equality and diversity course which needs updating as a result of the Equality Act 2010, why not give us a call 0131 4681374 or email osdc@blueyonder.co.uk. We can provide support with updating training materials to reflect the new legislation and training seminars on the Equality Act  which include interactive sector relevant case studies.
